Mr. Dettman is our school’s robotics and engineering teacher. He began his teaching career at LHP in 1995 by teaching 3rd and 4th grade. He switched to teaching robotics in the Upper School in 2012 as our school’s first robotics teacher. He started the FTC robotics team (formerly known as Lyft) in 2014. We wouldn’t be where we are today without his guidance
This season we are joined by two FTC Alumni that help us on the mechanical and business side of the team. Because they were on the FTC team Wired Cats, they have experience with higher level of competition such as the World Championship in Houston. We value the time and energy they put into the teams and know their knowledge of FIRST will help us succeed,
